My stay at Essque Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely local touch in the design. The breakfast and restaurant options were fine— food and fresh ingredients every day. What really made the experience special was the amazing staff at the reception. Degna from the evening shift was simply outstanding — professional, warm, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Nema, Shine, and Amina were equally kind and welcoming, making sure every detail was taken care of during my stay. I truly felt at home and very well taken care of. Thank you to the whole Essque team for such a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar!
