Relaxed and refreshed! This is an ideal location and place to recharge. We spent 5 nights and could have stayed more if time allowed. When pulling up to the resort by boat you feel a sense of calmness and walking up to the lobby to check-in eases your mind. The staff's ability to provide a room at an unconventional time 11am is much appreciated! Keep in mind this can be accomplished with the collaboration of guests checking out of their room before a 9:30am time. While here we literally did as minimal as possible. Waking up to fresh fruit/fruit juice is so enjoyable while looking out at the clear blue waters. Food is always cooked fresh for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was always great! It offers a variety for all from vegetarian, seafood, and meat. The fried mujarra was our favorite. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Keep in mind there is no ‘beach area’ from both the front and back entrance to the water. You will need to step right in but that is a minimal flaw. We brought our own rafts and literally hung out in the ocean for hours. They offer a paddleboard and some swim noodles. The staff is able to arrange tours with on-site personnel. We did the snorkel tour and highly recommend it! Also, did the bioluminescent tour in the evening. The rooms provide plenty of living space and the best views of the ocean water. We utilized the AllTrails app to venture around the island to walk into town and explore some of the local restaurants. The island always has a safe feeling and warm locals consistently saying hello. The limited number of rooms also provides an opportunity to connect with the other guests on site. You will not be disappointed. I mean how could you be when you're surrounded by the beauty of this island. Cheers to an amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation.
